WORK.

FM Sustainability Team

Our Facilities Management Sustainability Team here at UCI is committed to spreading awareness on the importance of recycling through our articles, projects, social media, and on-campus programs that will help better our campus environment! Each individual member in our team is dedicated to making new strides and improvements in their own personal projects as well as achieving the goals that we all share as a team.

Meet The Team

Anne Krieghoff

Anne is UCI's Facilities Management Sustainability Manger; responsible for campus Diversion, Water Conservation and LEED:EBOM. Anne earned a B.A. in Social Ecology from UCI and has a passion in keeping UCI as a leader in the Sustainability forefront with a campus Diversion Rate of 81%

Jaan

As a recycling intern I am responsible for updating and inputting data in the Zero Waste Diversion report and UCOP report, and innovating new standardized signs, programs, policies, and educational information mediums for staff, faculty, and students.

Michelle

I work on marketing and media for the team. I run the Facilities Management youtube, facebook, and website page; as well as create fun, informational videos that help spread awareness and knowledge on the subject of sustainability. I also contribute articles to our team Blog.

Isley

My position in water conservation is to drive down water usage through peer to peer education and constant monitoring of strategic buildings around UCI. I am responsible for boothing and e-flyers, using RA's as an educational gateway to residents, and making connections with housing and ARC administration.

Eduardo

As a housing-recycling intern, my goal is to increase the housing diversion rate by 20% in order to increase UCI's overall diversion rate. This will be accomplished through collaborative efforts with housing communities using education and marketing tactics.

Natasha

I work on special projects for the team. These projects can range from coordinating sustainability events to organizing new campaigns to implement better recycling methods across campus.
